We repair and recondition fixed pitch and constant speed propellers by McCauley, Sensenich and Hartzell in certified and non-certified versions. Our organisation holds an EASA approval No. CZ.CAO.0010.
Maintenance of certified propellers is offered to customers in EASA countries and other countries recognising an EASA Form 1 release. Maintenance of non-certified propellers (to be installed on aircraft with no type certificate) has no geographical limitations; airworthiness release documentation can be adapted to customer's needs.
Propeller issues are multifaceted and not always obvious. Can't find the right solution? Call us, and our engineers will offer you several solutions to your problem. We know how to save you money without compromising quality and airworthiness.
Samples of our work
Since 2015, we have serviced over 200 propellers. Here are some of them.

Having tried a number of coating technologies, we have finally achieved perfection: this kind of silky matte surface is what McCauley propellers look like when they leave the factory.

Propeller diagnostics and selection
Many aircraft operators spend a lot of time and money trying to diagnose propeller problems. A prop is essentially a good one-third of the aircraft and deserves as much respect as the airframe and the engine. American manufacturers have done a lot of research and development in this field, so you don't need to invent any new solutions today, it will suffice to implement the results of their work in practice: there are ready-made certified solutions for many American aircraft.
Analysing and diagnosing your propeller is our job.
Fixed pitch propeller reconditioning
The reconditioning involves a standard sequence of operations:
- stripping of old coatings
- inspection and non-destructive testing
- removal of nicks and scratches
- restoration of blade profile and symmetry
- heat treatment to relieve residual stress (if required)
- balancing
- painting
- balance correction if needed
Constant speed propeller overhaul
- complete disassembly
- stripping of old coatings
- inspection and non-destructive testing
- replacement of worn parts and all elastomer components
- removal of nicks and scratches
- restoration of blade profile and symmetry
- heat treatment to relieve residual stress (if required)
- pre-assembly, balancing, disassembly
- painting, blade polishing
- balance correction if needed
Blade repairs and modifications
We repair the blades of fixed pitch and constant speed propellers:
- With nicks and scratches
- After a prop strike
In each individual case, we thoroughly investigate the nature of damage and determine if the propeller is repairable.
Both diameter and pitch of fixed pitch propellers can be changed: the diameter can only be reduced, the pitch can be reduced or increased within the specified limits.
